The Gate Hotel Tokyo, which opened in Ginza last month, is notable for many things—but one is definitely its interior design created by design firm Gensler.
The interior design was developed with the dual motifs of “hana” and “iki”—in other words, splendor and stylishness. Ginza is one of the most unique places in Tokyo, with many charms, like brightly-lit shopping streets that blend long-established businesses with the latest brands. Gate Hotel Tokyo is designed to maximize those charms. That’s reflected in details like the decor to the equipment in the hotel. Various Ginza-themed artworks are also to be found. And because the layout and furniture vary from one spot to the next, guests are able to find their own favorite corner.
Gate Hotel Tokyo is truly a high-class hotel welcoming guests from home and abroad.
