Japan-based non-profit Circuit of Change is hosting an upcycling workshop to repurpose old shirts in our home into something useful such as tote bags. The T-shirt to Tote workshop can accommodate up to 30 participants to learn the basics of upcycling and how the movement contributes to sustainability. Participants can bring an old T-shirt of any size and can choose to make either a hand-made tote or a machine-made tote. All skill levels are welcome as the host will provide all materials needed to cut and sew the totes as well as simple guidance on how to use a sewing machine.
