Subculture Art Night in Shinjuku
Benten 2024 will be held in a range of exciting spaces around Kabukicho, with seminal artist group, ChimPom taking the role of the festival director. There will be a range of happenings, featuring a total of 57 artists.
The idea behind the festival is to re-center the Kabukicho area away from its shady past and into the cultural realm.
The program will include a solo exhibition by Chen Tien-Juo, club and traditional music events, plays and performances, and a true art night unique to the “night district.”
