This March, there will be a special screening period at Shibuya’s Eurospace cinema, entitled “Art, Kitsch and Exoticism.”
Over the course of the two weeks, the 12 film screenings will feature films shot in Tokyo by directors from all over the world, from a variety of genres and for a variety of ages. These include Video Notebooks of the City and Mode, which follows the work of fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto, as well as Like Someone in Love by masterful Iranian director Abbas Kiarostami.
There will also be talks with the actors and discussion available to join throughout the screening period.
