Formerly known as Beatnik Collective, Australian band Evening News are making pretty big waves with their debut EP New World, which is influenced by and indebted to artists like Squarepusher, Aphex Twin and u-Ziq.
The electronic wizards play in Tokyo at 440 (Four Forty) on July 8 with Yopparai Boiz (from The Lagerphones) and Nikodimos. They will follow that up with a second gig in Japan’s capital at Nanahari with Yopparai Boiz and MMM on July 10.
