The Bilingual Comedian Will Be Performing in English and Japanese
The Punch Room at The Tokyo Edition, Ginza is hosting a comedy night with Yurie Collins on October 12. Collins, who was interviewed by Tokyo Weekender earlier this year, performs in both English and Japanese. Her comedy delves into the human condition, often exploring dark and thought-provoking themes. She is particularly passionate about discussing her mixed and biracial identity and sharing the unique aspects of Japanese culture with a global audience.
Collins will be performing in English from 9 p.m. and in Japanese from 10.30 pm. In between her sets, DJ Cloudom will be on the decks. After Collins has finished, DJ Haruna will take on music responsibilities.
