“Divine,” a photo exhibition by TW’s own Lisa Knight, invites viewers to experience the sacred tapestry that weaves through nature, revealing that the divine is not confined to temples or scriptures but is vividly present in the beauty of the natural world: in flowers, in animals, in the soil, in the stars.
In collaboration with Geodesique and Mayuli Morishita, each image has been printed using the cyanotype method, a 19th century photographic technique. Through this unique alchemic process, each print has been developed by the celestial body that gives us life: the sun. The cyanotype method therefore becomes a metaphorical conduit, mirroring the symbiotic relationship between the earthly and the celestial, allowing each image to be filled with the transcendent energy of the cosmos.
