Art That Explores Humanity and Technology

The Mori Art Museum’s latest exhibition, “Machine Love: Video Game, AI and Contemporary Art,” spotlights contemporary artists that utilize game engines, generative AI and virtual reality technologies as tools for their visualization.

The growth of artificial intelligence and other innovations offer unprecedented possibilities for artists, but also raise concerns. In this exhibit, artists reflect on concepts such as life and death, ethics, the environmental crisis facing contemporary society, historical interpretation and diversity.

Exhibiting artworks were created as collaborations between “machines” and artists, offering immersive experiences through large-scale installations that contemplate the relationship between humankind and technology.
