Yamada Koki’s Nahar
In his first large-scale solo exhibition, wildlife photographer Koki Yamada will display a collection centered around the Bengal Tiger. Born in 1979, Koki’s work has centered around his own experiences at Ranthambore National Park in India and the apex predator, the Bengal Tiger. Locally known as “Nhar,” the Bengal Tiger is central to the local ecological balance and makes for a beautiful subject for Koki Yamada. At the heart of the exhibition, which poses questions about the coexistence between nature and humans, is Koki’s shot of a wild tiger captured deep in the national park.
