A Sakura Festival at 251 Meters Above
The Tembo Park Sakura Festival brings cherry blossom season indoors. With unpredictable spring weather bringing sunshine one day and heavy showers on another, the Sunshine 60 Observatory is the perfect venue for a magical and festive sakura celebration accompanied by amazing cityscapes from the 60th floor.
Tembo Park is covered in artificial turf and cherry blossoms that make fun photo spots at 251 meters above sea level. Some decorations use branches of real Somei Yoshino cherry trees, which are said to have originated in Toshima ward itself.
Café
The Tembo Park Café will also be serving some matching seasonal food and drinks. The menu includes strawberry au lait, a strawberry banana smoothie, a dango parfait, a bacon and egg sandwich and a sakura mont blanc. Visitors can rent a cherry blossom patterned picnic sheet for free from the Tenbo-no-Oka area and enjoy their treats on the lawn.
