Go On a Gourmet Adventure

The Food & Wine Festival returns for a second year at Tokyo DisneySea. The special event will last from April 8 to June 30, and offers guests of all ages the opportunity to sample a variety of dishes and exclusive seasonal beverages. Over 20 types of wines, beer, cocktails and soft drinks will be available that perfectly pair with the scenic ambience of Tokyo DisneySea and the warming spring weather.

Here is everything you need to know about the Food & Wine offerings.

Menu

With the theme of exploring the world through cuisine, restaurants and snack booths will be serving exclusive food and drinks inspired by various international cultures and the different ports throughout the park.

Starting with a new twist on a classic snack, the festival will have a limited-time popcorn flavor— scallop garlic butter. This popcorn flavor will be available at the popcorn wagons in front of Liberty Landing Diner and in front of the Scuttle’s Scooters attraction.

Restaurant Sakura at the American Waterfront will serve braised pork with an apple mustard sauce and mashed potatoes. The restaurant will also have an accompanying sake cocktail with vanilla and apple to pair with the pork. The grated apple adds a refreshing sweetness for the arrival of spring.

Barnacle Bills, also in the American Waterfront area, will have a mackerel and cheese baked open sandwich topped with kabayaki sauce, purple cabbage and balsamic onions. To pair with the sandwich is a tropical beer cocktail with passion fruit, almond syrup and a surprising kick of Sichuan peppercorn.

Kasba Food Court in the Arabian Coast will offer tandoori chicken topped with a cheese sauce. The dish is also served with spiced potatoes. The exclusive drink at this location is a butterfly pea and lemon lassi. When the drink is mixed, the butterfly pea reacts and changes color for a magical effect inspired by the Genie.

Yucatan Base Camp Grill at Lost River Delta will serve Mexican-inspired garlic fried shrimp with avocado tortilla chips and a lime salsa. This can be paired with a sparkling cocktail topped with both pureed and diced mango.

Cafe Portofino will have a tasting selection of antipasto misto and wines. The appetizer plate includes prosciutto, beef mousse and croquettes filled with a truffle risotto.

The blue food truck at the American Waterfront will have a gnocchi gratin with spicy chorizo, mushroom, pistachio and Mickey-shaped garnish.

Gondolier Snack located in Mediterranean Harbor will have an iced cafe latte cocktail with almond and amaretto. The cocktail is also topped with a Biscotti Savoiardo, a traditional Italian biscuit, that can be dipped and soaked in the drink.

Most of the festival menu will be available starting on April 7. For a full list of food and drinks, please visit the website.

Gourmet Ticket Set

For the seasoned foodies, the gourmet ticket set may be a good option for you. The set comes with three food and drink tickets, and a souvenir lunch box to carry your festival selections in. Sales for this set start on April 7 at a variety of park locations.

Chef’s Imagination Special Course

At select table service restaurants, Tokyo DisneySea chefs will offer a special course meal inspired by the new attractions at Fantasy Springs starting on April 16.

The S.S. Columbia Dining Room is themed to Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival and the Tangled movie, with Chef Tetsuro Nagashima in charge of development. The flavors are curated to match the emotions of various scenes. During the festival, the restaurant will also present live piano performances, including songs from Tangled.

Magellan’s will present a course menu inspired by Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey and the Frozen movie, with Chef Hiroshi Matsutani in charge of development. The course’s hors d’oeuvre consists of Nordic ingredients and carrots are used in a creative way to represent Olaf the snowman.

Ristorante di Canaletto is inspired by Peter Pan’s Neverland Adventure and the Peter Pan movie, with Chef Eiji Kimijima in charge of development. Mixing Italian cuisine with the movie scenes, the appetizers and short pasta take inspiration from Peter Pan and the Lost Kids. The dessert is a fun play at Captain Hook and Tick-Tock the crocodile.

Restaurant Sakura‘s course menu is inspired by Fairy Tinkerbell’s Busy Buggies and the Tinkerbell movie series, with Chef Kenji Toyama in charge of development. The course takes guests through four locations in Pixie Hollow– Summer Wetlands, Autumn Forest, Winter Forest and Spring Valley — and incorporates Japanese seasonal flavors.
