Enter the World of Trigun

To celebrate the second anniversary of the anime Trigun Stampede, Animate’s flagship Ikebukuro store is hosting a special exhibition at its Space Galleria.

The entrance of the exhibit is filled with concept art pieces of characters, cityscapes and weaponry. Walking through the gallery, visitors can also see storyboards, facial expression charts, costume design sketches and more.

The original Trigun manga by Yasuhiro Nightow began serialization in 1995 and ran until 2007. It was developed into a popular anime television series in 1998. After 25 years, Trigun got a refresh with Trigun Stampede using 3DCG technology to animate its action sequences. The final installment of the series, titled Trigun Stargaze, has been announced to premiere in 2026. The series stars Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as titular character Vash the Stampede.

The exhibition also has a wide range of original goods available. The merchandise corner has acrylic stands, keychains, lighters and even watches. Customers who spend ¥5000 or more will receive an exclusive shopper card.
