Take a Glimpse at Radiant Scenes of Tokyo’s Transformation
Award-winning photographer Ulysses Aoki will be showing his solo exhibition, “Scenes Left Behind,” at Kitamura Camera’s Shinjuku flagship store. The Exhibition will feature a decade of vibrant, candid photographs documenting Tokyo’s transformation, including the city’s Olympic preparations, the pandemic and socioeconomic changes. Aoki’s snapshots of Tokyo are contrasted with photos from other cities like Rome, offering a global view of urban evolution.
A Tokyo-based artist with Japanese and American heritage, Aoki has collaborated with international brands like UNIQLO and exhibited at Milan Fashion Week. He is also active in sustainability, advising organizations like UNESCO and the United Nations Global Compact.
