Palestinian Musician on His First Ever Japan Tour
Palestinian pop artist Bashar Murad is coming to play at Waifu!
Murad is a pop artist based in Jerusalem who uses his own experience to craft songs about everything from the microaggressions he faces as a queer Palestinian to the oppression caused by apartheid and patriarchy, with his own unique humorous take.
This will be Bashar’s first visit to East Asia, along with his collaborator Einar Stef of Iceland’s industrial-punk band HATARI. Don’t miss out on the costumes and styling, which will be created in collaboration with local designers and stylists based in Tokyo.
