Ravens Will Be Screened With English Subtitles at Three Theaters in Tokyo
Between April 4 and April 10, Mark Gill’s biographical drama Ravens, starring Golden Globe recipient Tadanobu Asano, will be screened with English subtitles at Toho Cinemas Chanter in Yurakucho and the long-standing Shinjuku Musashinokan theater.
There will also be special screenings with English subtitles at Eurospace in Shibuya between April 6 and April 8.
In his second feature-length film, Gill brings the turbulent life of acclaimed photographer Masahisa Fukase and his wife, Yoko, whom he photographed relentlessly, into focus. Ravens is an uncompromising and, at times, heartbreaking story about a man who Gill says tried to “push photography in a new direction.”
