The Mystery of Connection through Two Cultures

UltraSuperNew Gallery is pleased to announce an exhibition by Béchir Boussandel & Yudai Takeuchi, exploring the essence of the Japanese word 幽玄 (Yugen). The French-Tunisian and Japanese artworks showcases a powerful call to reconnect with the essence of our existence.

This ground-breaking exhibition unveils Boussandel’s works for the first time in Japan, a visual symphony that draws attention to the hidden splendor of the Tunisian desert. His art serves as both a testament to nature’s resilience and a heartfelt plea for us to pay closer attention to its delicate existence. Whereas Japanese artist Yudai Takeuchi explores humanity’s enigmatic connection to the broader of daylife, the sad beauty of human suffering, delving into themes that are often beyond his reach of language.

There will be an opening reception on April 18 at 7 p.m.
