Big kids will love this. After a two day trade fair showcasing the latest trends, aiming at the Christmas gift market, the doors of Tokyo Big Sight will open to the public on June 16 and 17.
Over the weekend the Japan Toy Association hopes that through hands on play we will “reconfirm the pleasure of toys.” As if we had forgotten! The “International Tokyo Toy Show 2012” is upon us.
They call it EnterTOYment, and who are we to disagree? Everything from train sets to remote controlled robots will be on display, with many never-before-seen items from Japan’s forward thinking toy companies.
Weird, wacky or wonderful, there will be something for everyone – if 2011 is anything to go by you should head there early to make time for all of the booths. It’s sure to be a hit with the world’s media but why not go and have a look for yourself – what’s more, it’s free!
